121st Celebration at Child Development Centre Dream Train
Back to News 121st Celebration at Child Development Centre Dream Train September 8, 2023 In celebration of the 121st anniversary of the Dai-ichi Life Group, we visited the Child Development Centre Dream Train. Our management team and team members joined together to play games aimed at promoting the physical and mental well-being of the children. The children from Dream Train presented Digital Storytelling, and well-being activities that they had learned during the last summer, and our management team gave gifts to all the children. Additionally, they engaged in group activities such as Mg Kan Htoo Origami and the Mg Kan Htoo puzzle game, with prizes awarded to the winning teams. Following these activities, both the children and Dai-ichi life team members collaborated to create finger paintings on canvas. Afterwards, we provided lunch boxes for all the children to thank them for their hard work and dedication throughout the day. With “People First”, we are committed to continuously supporting the younger generation, aiming for brighter futures and better lifestyle. Share this on

Back to News “Wealth in Health” July 7, 2023 With the celebration of achievements by our Business Partners and Financial Planners from the previous quarter’s performance, we unveiled “Mg Kan Htoo,” our first mascot of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar, at our mid-year kickoff event themed “Wealth in Health” at Meliá Yangon Hotel on 7 July 2023. As a symbol of perseverance and commitment, Mg Kan Htoo represents the cultural infusion of Japan’s traditional doll, Daruma, and our childhood favorite, Pyit Taing Htaung. Back to News Building the Future For Women in Life Insurance March 8, 2023 To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2023, the “On Her Journey” Discussion and Dialogue program was organized by BPW (Business Professional Women Myanmar Federation), MYANWEN (Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network), MBE (Myanmar Business Executives Association), and Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon. The event took place at Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon. We, Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar, were delighted to be a part of this program, which aimed to provide a comprehensive experience for all levels of business and individuals, regardless of gender. Back to News Eco Action Relay: “Connect and Motivate Each Other” Campaign February 10, 2023 We have successfully accomplished Eco Action Relay Project, which began in 2022, with the objectives of “Connect and Motivate Each Other”, on 10th February 2023. We were able to raise awareness on environmental conservation not only in our office but also in our community, through this campaign. Throughout this campaign, teamwork spirit and cooperation between cross-functional departments have increased among the employees of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar. In addition, aligning with the main objective of the campaign, “Connect and Motivate Each Other”, we have succeeded in cooperating and encouraging each other through interesting and innovative ideas. The campaign activities focused on (1) reducing the use of paper and plastic (2) saving water and electricity; and (3) sharing knowledge on environmental conservation. Share this on

Back to News Above and Beyond 2023 January 14, 2023 We held our Above and Beyond 2023 event on 14th January at Sule Shangri-la Hotel. At the event, our Star Achiever Club members shared their challenges as well as achievements of the previous year. At the event, our Dai-ichi Life’s Financial Planners and Business Partners set this year’s New Year Resolutions with Kakizome – The First Writing of A Year, a Japanese tradition for the first calligraphy written at the beginning of a year by using an ink brush. We, Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar, encourage and motivate our financial planners and business partners. This time, we believe we have empowered and inspired them to move forwards to 2023. Movember Campaign
Back to News Movember Awareness Campaign November 1, 2022 In November, not only our male colleagues at Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar participated in the Movember campaign by growing their mustaches for the entire month, but also our female colleagues actively took part in the campaign to raise awareness of mental issues and two common silent cancers: prostate cancer and testicular cancer. On social media, we also shared how we can prevent suicide cases and what support we need to provide for men. In line with the People First philosophy, we at Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar have been supporting a better lifestyle and achieving a healthy and peaceful future. We occasionally organise health-related talks, campaigns, and knowledge-sharing sessions to show our CARE to the people of Myanmar. Share this on
