Overseas Cashless Claims
With Dai-ichi Health CARE’s Cashless Claims service, customers can now access medical treatment such as in-hospitalization treatments, pre & post-hospitalization, outpatient treatments at selected hospitals in these countries without having to worry about upfront payments or reimbursement procedures.
Requesting Cashless Services for Overseas Treatment
- Step 1: Send an email to healthclaim@daiichilife.com.mm with the following information:
- For outpatient and inpatient treatment, please provide:
- Claimant’s name
- Policy name
- Date of birth
- NRC number
- Appointment date
- Doctor’s name (if available)
- Diagnosis
- Hospital name and medical record
- Estimated amount (Optional) – Inpatient only
- Hospital Admission Days – Inpatient only
- Step 2: Receive an electronic copy of the Letter of Guarantee (LOG). This allows you to receive treatment overseas without worrying about payment.
Remark:
- Processing time for overseas cashless treatment is approximately (7) working days. Whenever a claimant requests the overseas cashless service, the case fee amount will be deducted from his/her policy limit based on actual eligible hospitalization expenses.

Only International Plans, Plan 5 to Plan 10 are eligible for Overseas Cashless Claim Services.
From Plan 5 to Plan 7 of Dai-ichi Health CARE, Overseas Cashless Claims Services is available in Thailand, Malaysia and India. From Plan 8 to Plan 10 of Dai-ichi Health CARE, Overseas Cashless Claims Services is available in Thailand, Malaysia, India and Singapore.

The processing time would take (7) days so you will have to submit the request one week in advance.
Depending on the selected Plan’s Annual Limit, the amount for Cashless Claims Service will be varied.
Depending on the selected Plan’s Annual Limit per policy year, all eligible claim amount can be requested the Oversea Cashless Claims Service.
The case fees shall be deducted from your annual limit every time you request the Oversea LOG depending on the actual eligible hospitalization expenses.
Yes, you may cancel the claim request.
